The
Together for Sudan Vocational Training Project
began in 2007 with only a handful of scholars, all young men. It is our first
effort to provide training specifically to boys beyond primary school and arose
out of the perceived need to ensure that disadvantaged and talented young men
such as Gidion receive training which will enrich and dignify their lives and
help them support their families towards a better future. Gidion's letter of
appreciation -- for what may seem to some a small gesture -- reveals the hope
which his relatively inexpensive training has injected into his life.
See below a message of thanks from one of our vocational scholars that
Together for Sudan has helped.

I am Gidion Ibrahim Tutu. I graduated from Modern
National Institute in the field of Refrigeration & Air conditioning. Firstly
what could I write?
I am full of pleasure for the greater TfS efforts. I had left school for a long
time due to my financial situations. I thank God for this opportunity to enroll
in Vocational Training and my appreciation also for Together for Sudan members
especially for Saudi who encouraged us to study hard.

Together for Sudan wants to see this hope change the lives of many more young men. But very sadly the project is now inactive due to lack of funding. A gift of $500 or £250 will put a young man through a one year course in Mechanics, Electrics or Air Conditioning. A three year course in Mechanics, Electrics, Welding, Air Conditioning or Carpentry costs approximately $2,250 or £1,125. Please make a donation today to help us save the future for boys who are the husbands and fathers of Sudan's future.
