Dr Nabila Radi.

Dr. Nabila Radi Elias has been a stalwart supporter of Together for Sudan since it began over a decade ago. In 2002 when our Director asked Dr. Nabila if she could help TFS set up an eye care outreach, Dr. Nabila responded with typical enthusiasm: "If you are going to help the poor you are going to suffer! I can start tomorrow." Actually Dr. Nabila had long been involved in helping destitute people in need of eye care. But now Together for Sudan has given her a platform, assistants and broader opportunity with which to do this. Recently she was congratulated for her work with us by Dr. Ahmed Trabelsi, a distinguished and internationally recognised ophthalmologist who is president of NADI AL BASSAR, a pioneering Tunisian medical and educational charity (See weblink). Nadi Al Bassar

Dr. Trabelsi's comments reflect the dedication and hard work which Dr. Nabila has put into Together for Sudan's Eye Care Outreach project.

"I was indeed impressed by all these activities performed and achieved in spite of all the challenges in Sudan.

In the same time I would like to congratulate Dr Nabila and her team for such wonderful and un expected successful work in prevention of blindness. As a matter of fact, this report will be presented during our organizing committee meeting or the board meeting of Nadi Al Bassar to see if there is any possibility of future collaboration between our organization and Sudan."

With your help Dr Nabila can do much more good work.
